Huddled incongruously between two major highways and adjacent to downtown Harrisburg, PA is a tiny plot of natural land called the Wildwood Park. Sanctuary for a myriad bird species and reenergizing outlet for running enthusiasts like myself, I always smiled at the contrast between this small haven and the urbanity that surrounds it on all sides. Whenever I return to my hometown I eagerly anticipate a run through this rejuvenating natural nook.
